SP-Siffling Productions is an independent management, production, and booking company that specializes in creating exceptional high-class jazz experiences.
Founded by renowned german jazz musician and businessman Thomas Siffling, Siffling Productions has built a reputation for curating world-class jazz entertainment that resonates with discerning audiences globally.
Since 2012, we have orchestrated the iconic Thomas Siffling’s Christmas Gala, a highly anticipated event in the jazz calendar of Mannheim. Originally held at the National Theatre Mannheim, this prestigious event has been hosted at the historic Rosengarten Mannheim since 2023. The venue, strategically located across from Mannheim’s Water Tower, provides the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable celebration of jazz.
In 2018, Thomas Siffling further solidified his reputation as a jazz & cultural visionary with the establishment of the exclusive Ella & Louis Jazz Club in the Rosengarten Mannheim. Under his leadership as managing director and curator, the club has garnered international acclaim. In recognition of its excellence, the Ella & Louis was honored with three prestigious venue awards in 2021, 2022, and 2024, including the Applaus Venue Program Prize awarded by the German Federal Government. The club boasts an impressive annual occupancy rate of over 90%, selling 15,000 concert tickets in the 2023/24 season. Furthermore, the Ella & Louis was named one of the world’s top 100 jazz clubs by the highly respected Downbeat Magazine in both 2023 and 2024.
In early 2024, we expanded our footprint with the opening of a second Ella & Louis Jazz Club at the renowned Holzhausenschlösschen in Frankfurt. As curator, Siffling brings his signature vision and expertise to this new venture, ensuring that it will also become a cornerstone of the german jazz scene.
Siffling Productions is also known for its successful jazz concert series, such as the Jazz Nights at the Badisches Staatstheater in Karlsruhe and the Anhaltisches Theater in Dessau. These events continue to draw large, enthusiastic audiences, further establishing our role as a driving force in the german jazz industry.
In 2022, we took on the exciting challenge of organizing the Mannheim Jazz Festival, held annually at the Rosengarten Mannheim. Spanning four days across two stages, this festival has showcased jazz legends like Curtis Stigers, Barbara Dennerlein, Wolfgang Haffner, Bill Evans and Max Mutzke. In 2025, we are thrilled to welcome global star Ute Lemper as part of the festival, alongside Grammy Award-winning artist Nicole Zuraitis. These performances promise to be unforgettable highlights of the festival. The Mannheim Jazz Festival, which has become a key event in the regional jazz calendar, also includes exclusive after-show sessions at Ella & Louis, where magic and emotion fill the air in an intimate atmosphere.
