SIFFLING PRODUCTIONS

Siffling Productions was established by the jazz trumpeter and businessman Thomas Siffling.

Siffling is one oft the most renowned and influential jazz musicians of his generation in Germany for many years.

Since 2012, he has organized the tradition of Thomas Siffling’s Christmas Gala in Mannheim. Initially held at the Opera House of the National Theatre Mannheim, this event has been firmly established in the historic Rosengarten Mannheim since 2023, centrally located directly opposite Mannheim’s landmark, the Water Tower.

In 2018, Thomas Siffling, as managing director and curator, also established a top-high-class live jazz club, the "Ella & Louis", in the unique Rosengarten Mannheim.​

Two venue awards in 2021 and 2022, such as the “Applaus” Venue Program Prize awarded by the German Federal Government, and an annual club occupancy rate of over 90% with 15,000 concert tickets sold (2023/24 season), are impressive evidence of this success. The world’s most widely circulated international jazz magazine, Downbeat Magazine, also named Ella & Louis as one of the world’s 100 best jazz clubs in 2023 and again in 2024. At the beginning of 2024, Siffling expanded and opened a second Ella & Louis Live Jazz Club in the Holzhausenschlösschen in Frankfurt, where he also serves as a curator.

Siffling is the Artistic Director and Curator for successful jazz concert series such as the “Jazz Nights” at the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe and the Anhaltisches Theater in Dessau.

Since 2022, his premium live entertainment company, Siffling Productions, has also been organizing the Mannheim Jazz Festival at the Rosengarten Mannheim, 4 days on 2 stages.

Jazz greats such as Max Mutzke, Curtis Stigers, Barbara Dennerlein, Wolfgang Haffner and Bill Evans have thrilled audiences in the Musensaal of the Mannheim Rosengarten and during the after-show sessions at the Ella & Louis Jazz Club over the past two years. These were magical moments full of emotions in a unique atmosphere.
